Sara Wass has been documenting the oddities and intricacies of metropolitan culture and nightlife for almost a decade.

Her previous experiences and positive feedback have brought her to major events across the country, such as Mysteryland USA and Miami Music Week. She formerly was the resident photographer for Daybreaker NYC, and has shot for recurring events such as BangOn!, Bounce Boat, Jukely, and Fiction NYC.

Sara recently left her post as the Design Department Coordinator at VICE Media to pursue freelance photography full-time, yet is well-trained in graphic design and composition. She still works with VICE and VICELAND as an editorial photographer as well as a freelance art director for various branded campaigns, such as Mailchimp's 2017 campaigns entitled Failchips, Malecrimp, and VeilHymn. Sara currently shoots often for art gallery openings and performance/art exhibitions at acclaimed NYC venues such MoMA PS1 and The Jewish Museum, and also independently serves as the general manager for various Brooklyn-based musical artists and party collectives.
