Snapdragon: Power to Move

presented by Warner Music Experience (WMX) / UPROXX

The Mission

Qualcomm came to WMX looking for a strong team and musical partner to create something timeless, using the forthcoming Snapdragon PC's advanced AI technology.  Our client's priority was to show that this PC can be used anywhere, and fast -- proving to everyone that Snapdragon has the Power to Move against all odds. WMX would bring this concept to life with a well-documented IRL activation.

The Challenge

The Snapdragon team wanted to create energy and tension surrounding the development process. For example, a big artist might write a new track on the way to a public performance in a limited amount of time, or without cellular access. They  wanted audience participation, and the ability to view the resulting project in real life after completion.

The Process

I developed and wrote sample Power to Move treatments, working with Strategy, Production, and Talent while researching dozens of culturally relevant, tech-savvy artists from Warner Music's talent pool. After weeks of back and forth, teams settled on electronic music duo ODESZA, who built their epic art installation "Echoes" at The Gorge Amphitheatre in Seattle using Snapdragon x Elite.
